SPC Paris Baguette Sponsors US LPGA Tournament, Enjoying Great Promotional Effect

Paris Baguette, SPC’s bakery brand, fully enjoyed promotion effects by participating as an official sponsor for the Mizuho Americas Open of the U.S. LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) Tour in the U.S.
Held from 1st to 4th of this month (local time) with total prize money of USD 2.75 million, the Mizuho Americas Open is a new tournament opened by the Liberty National Gold Club in Jersey City of New Jersey, U.S. Michelle Wi, a Korean-American golfer who is also famous in Korea, performed as a host of the tournament. With seven of the world’s top 10 golfers competing for the first championship title, this event drew attention from golf fans across the world.
Paris Baguette explained that it had decided to sponsor this event in order to solidify its image as a global bakery brand by strengthening local marketing and elevating the brand recognition in the U.S.
In particular, the Liberty National Golf Club where the LPGA tournament was held for the first time, is famous for the view of the New York city’s iconic Statue of Liberty and the beautiful skyline of Manhattan. For Paris Baguette, it served as an ideal venue to effectively publicize the brand as the company is operating over 30 stores in New York including 14 in Manhattan.
During the tournament, Paris Baguette logo was exposed across the courses through electronic signboards and pamphlets. Also, the booth which showcased and sampled Paris Baguette products drew lots of people, adding to the promotional effect to the stadium visitors.
“We participated as a sponsor in the event with a goal to strengthen the brand recognition in the U.S. market, which is strategically important for our overseas business,” said a Paris Baguette official. “We will actively publicize Paris Baguette brand around the world by continuously performing various activities in the global market.”
Paris Baguette is operating around 130 stores in the U.S. and plans to conclude additional franchise contract for 160 stores. It established a branch office in Canada in 2020, and opened the first store this March. Paris Baguette has set a goal to open 1,000 stores in the North American region by 2030.
