SPC Samlip Signs Memorandum of Understanding with an Agriculture Association for Supply of Eco-friendly Agricultural Products

SPC Samlip announced on November 22, 2021, that it has signed the ‘Agreement for Happy Win-Win Growth through ESG Management between SPC Samlip and Eco-friendly Agricultural Product Self-help Fund’ with the Self-help Fund Management Board for Eco-friendly Agricultural Products in Korean Association of Eco-friendly Agriculture.

SPC Samlip aims to help promote the consumption of eco-friendly agricultural products while providing consumers with high-quality food products using eco-friendly raw materials. The company will initially use environment-friendly onions in Samlip Steamed Buns (steamed vegetable buns) and increase the use of diverse eco-friendly agricultural products in its food products.

Representing 60,000 farmers across Korea who produce agricultural products with organic and pesticide-free farming certificates, the Korean Association of Eco-friendly Agriculture concentrates efforts on enhancing the value of sustainable ecological agriculture and eco-friendly agriculture to address the climate crisis.

“We will actively provide food products using eco-friendly agricultural products in Korea through the agreement. We will continue to conduct diversified activities for eco-friendly management,” said a manager at SPC Samlip.
