These menus immediately mix fresh ingredients and full toppings as an order is placed. ‘Strawberry Just Egg Salad’ is a vegan salad that freshly combines sweet seasonal strawberries, Just Egg scramble, and granola. ‘Chipotle Avocado Salad’ mixes soft avocado with chicken breasts, tomato salsa, and mixed beans. With a light pita bread included in the serving, the menu is a perfect hearty fare.

Q. Can you please introduce yourself?
Hello, my name is Kim Hye Won and I’m the store manager for PIG IN THE GARDEN’s Mokdong store. I joined SPG Group’s PIG IN THE GARDEN in 2018 as a gardener and has been working at Restaurant Business Division for the past four years. I previously worked as a store manager at PIG IN THE GARDEN’s Pangyo and Gwanghwamun stores where I oversaw store management. Through systematic store management, we always strive to provide a better service for all our customers.

Q. Can you explain the theme of PIG IN THE GARDEN’s Mokdong store?
PIG IN THE GARDEN is a fine casual salad specialty store that allows customer to enjoy a high-quality salad at a reasonable price. Mokdong store demonstrates a nature-friendly atmosphere by placing various plants in all corners with a theme of ‘garden at the heart of the city.’ We filled one side of the wall with artist Kim Eun Jung’s botanical art wall painting to provide an experience that represents a feeling of dining in the garden.

Q. Who are the main customers at Mokdong store?
PIG IN THE GARDEN’s Mokdong store is located at the crossroad with high foot traffic figures including office workers and local residents. The location is a major commercial district with broadcasting stations and large department stores near the store. We see a large number of office workers coming in for lunch with a high demand for salads. On evenings and weekends, we see more local residents and shoppers stopping by. We offer pickups and delivery services as well, so you have several options to enjoy PIG IN THE GARDEN’s delicious menus.

Q. Can you recommend a menu for first timers to your store?
I’d recommend a ‘Bowl Salad’ for newcomers, which is made at the store as the customer’s orders are placed. We mix ingredients and toppings right at the spot to provide you with fresh tastes. For those who seek a hearty fare, I’d recommend a ‘Plate Salad’ that allows you to handpick your grilled menus and scoop salads. There are several squeezed juice menus available that goes very well with the salads. We squeeze fresh fruits and vegetables as they are, so they are full of taste and nutrients.
