SPC Samlip Opens Second CITY DELI Store in Yangjae-dong
– CITY DELI Yangjae will serve as a test bed for City Deli business expansion
SPC Samlip announced the opening of a second CITY DELI outlet where customers can enjoy Grab & Go dishes, such as salads and sandwiches, at Gangnam P Tower (SPC Group office building) in Yangjae-dong.

The outlet displays the energetic and fresh atmosphere of the brand using green tiles, the CITY DELI brand color. The timber furniture and felt-covered art boards create a stylish, yet warm environment as a comfortable space in the heart of the city.
CITY DELI launched signature menus to celebrate the Yangjae store opening. “Steak and Gorgonzola Salad,” which sold over 20,000 at the Gwanghwamun store, was re-launched with an increased amount of mushroom, hemp seed, and other contents. “Steak and Mushroom Sandwich,” a hot sandwich stacking steak, cheddar cheese, balsamic onion, and cabbage pickles, was also launched.
“CITY DELI Yangjae will function as a test bed to check customer responses,” said a CITY DELI official. “We plan to fully expand the CITY DELI business to coincide with the post-COVID-19 era, such as opening a store in the Magok District following the launch of the Yangjae store”
CITY DELI carries grocery products, such as HMR pastas, snacks, and wines, as well as light meals including salads, sandwiches, and rolls prepared daily. The products are sold on the Grab & Go basis, which allows customers to select the packaged menus from the showcase as they are shopping, and enjoy the food in the store. Convenient delivery, takeout, and group order services are also available.
