SPC Group Donates Relief Supplies to Region Affected by Typhoon Hinnamnor

 

 

SPC Group announced on the 7th that it has provided emergency relief supplies to Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do damaged by Typhoon Hinnamnor.

 

SPC Happy Foundation delivered a total of 9,000 relief items, such as 3,000 SPC Samlip bread and 6,000 bottles of mineral water, to the damage restoration sites in the typhoon-affected Pohang region through the Korean Red Cross. The relief items will be offered to the victims staying at shelters and relief personnel.

 

“We determined the support in order to be of help in swift normalization of Pohang region, which suffered a huge damage because of the unexpected mega typhoon, and assist residents in returning to daily life,” said an SPC Group official. “We will continue providing support until the damage recovery is completed.”

 

Having established a full-time cooperation system with the Korean Red Cross, SPC Group actively embarks on the donation of emergency relief supplies and recovery support upon disaster occurrence. In August, it delivered 10,000 SPC Samlip bread and 14,000 bottles of mineral water as relief supplies to Gangwon-do and Chungcheongnam-do as well as the capital region, such as Seoul and Incheon, affected by the torrential downpour.
