On the 22nd, the Safety Management Committee Chairman Jeong Kap-young and member Jo Hyeon-wuk visited SPL in Pyeongtaek-si where they received a briefing on the status of safety inspection conducted by an external agency and inspected the status of implementation measures in the work site. They also met with the labor union members and listened to their suggestions for improvement.
At the discussion between the Committee and the labor union, in particular, the employees voiced opinions about health and safety as well as various suggestions concerning working and labor environmental improvement. The Committee will actively collect and deliver these suggestions to management.

According to the safety management improvement plan, SPC conducted industrial safety inspections targeting all worksites through an external agency. Having completed the inspection on 24 out of 28 production facilities so far, the company is taking improvement measures in sequence. Once the inspection is completed at the end of November, the Safety Management Committee will review the inspection results and announce an improvement plan.
