SPC Opens ‘Shinnonhyeon Branch’ of Lina’s, a Sandwich & Salad Specialty Brand

The SPC Group (Chairman Hur Young-in) announced on July 20 that its affiliate Lina’s, a Sandwich & Salad Brand, has opened ‘Shinnonhyeon Branch’ as its 13th store.

Lina’s is a French brand which was incorporated in 1989 with a focus on sandwich and salad and was acquired by the SPC Group in June of last year, 20 years after the Group introduced and started to operate the brand in the South Korean market under the master franchise in 2002. Currently, Lina’s runs 12 stores in South Korea’s well-known areas such as Gangnam, Gwanghwamun, Jamsil, and Incheon International Airport.

Lina’s Shinnonhyeon Branch is located on the 1st floor of Chungha Building, 503, Gangnam-daero, between Nonhyeon Station and Sinnonhyeon Station on the Shinbundang Line, with a size of 118㎡ and 42 seats. The interior design highlights Lina’s unique dark green color on a wood and cream background, and its open kitchen structure provides customers with a clear view of the sandwich making process. In addition, the store is equipped with a ‘pick-up box’ that enables convenient non-face-to-face pick-up services from ordering to receiving products, enhancing customer convenience.

Moreover, Lina’s has prepared various events to celebrate the opening of the new store. First, if the purchase amount at the store is KRW 13,000 or higher, a reusable bag with the brand logo will be presented to the first 500 customers. In addition, until July 25, a set consisting of the signature Camembert Pastrami Panini and orange juice is sold at a discount price of KRW 13,000. In the delivery channels (△ Baemin 1 of Baemin, and △ Coupang Eats app), free delivery services are provided until July 29, and in the Happy Order app, the discount of up to KRW 6,000 will be offered for takeaway orders until August 18. More information is available at the official website (www.linaskorea.com) and Instagram (@linas_korea).

Meanwhile, as a summer event, Lina’s introduces ‘Club Lina’s 1989 Sandwich’, which embodies the original sandwich recipe of Club Lina’s in France in 1989, when Lina’s first opened, and △Buckwheat Salmon Salad, a summer-limited product that harmonizes savory buckwheat noodles with smoked salmon and crunchy vegetables.

An official from Lina’s said, “We have opened Lina’s Shinnonhyeon Branch to bring healthy and well-balanced sandwiches and salads to more consumers. Including the opening of the 14th store in Seocho-dong scheduled for August, we will continue to expand our stores in the future.”
