Samlip ‘Gift Set from Meegak Bakery’ Wins Main Prize at iF Design Award

SPC Samlip announced on May 18 that its premium bakery brand Meegak Bakery won the main prize in the package sector of the food category at the ‘iF International Forum Design Award’ for its gift set package.
The ‘iF Design Award’ is a prestigious international design competition that began its long history in 1954 and is cited as one of the world’s top three design awards together with the ‘Red Dot Design Award’ and ‘IDEO’.
Meegak Bakery’s gift set is provided in an eco-friendly package printed with soybean oil ink on FSC-certified uncoated paper, and was highly praised for its ‘universal design (design to ensure accessibility for all people, irrespective of disability)’ by embossing the product name in braille for the visually impaired.
An official from SPC Samlip said, “We are excited to win the iF Design Award, a global design award with international recognition, in recognition of our premium package design based on eco-friendliness. As part of ESG management, we plan to continuously showcase eco-friendly and universal design packages.”
