SPC Group Jamba Juice Holds Happy Smoothie Class

Jamba Juice, a healthy lifestyle brand operated by SPC Group (Chairman: Hur Young-in), said on the 23rd that it held a Happy Smoothie Class for baristas with disabilities a day before.
Happy Smoothie Class is a social contribution activity that provides training in beverage-making practices, delivers them skills, and supports linking with companies for job opportunities to baristas with disabilities.
In the class, which has resumed after two years due to COVID19, professional instructors of Jamba Juice gave manufacturing practices of the company’s most popular drinks such as ‘Strawberry Wild’, ‘Orange C Grapefruit’, as well as the theoretical education to the five baristas from Seocho-gu Hanuri Sheltered Workshop. Jamba Juice also offered eco-friendly goods such as multi-use tumblers and netted bags as gifts, adding significance to this activity.
“Baristas with disabilities were highly satisfied with manufacturing training of fruit-and-vegetable drinks that they had fewer opportunities to deal with before. We hope this class helps trainees improve their beverage-making skills and find jobs,” said a Jamba Juice official.
SPC Group’s Happy Smoothie Class, launched in 2014, has trained more than 70 baristas with disabilities in total so far.
