SPC Group Opens Third and Fourth Paris Baguette Stores in Indonesia Consecutively

SPC Group announced on March 24, 2022 that it has consecutively opened the third and fourth Paris Baguette stores in Jakarta and Bekasi, Indonesia, respectively.

Opening 4 stores in Indonesia in four months after it launched the first store in November 2021 at Ashta Mall in Jakarta in partnership with Indonesia’s Erajaya Group, Paris Baguette is rapidly solidifying its foundation in the local market.

Boosted by gaining over double of expected sales at its first and second stores, and being named as one of the ‘Best 5 Popular Bakeries and Cakes in Jakarta’ by IDNtimes, Paris Baguette has expanded its reach to Bekasi, a neighboring city to Jakarta.

On March 23, Paris Baguette opened its third store in Indonesia ‘Pondok Indah Mall store’ at the central part of the first floor of the mall with a floor space of 162 square meters and 66 seats. Pondok Indah Mal is one of the top 5 premium shopping malls in Jakarta which is visited by over 100,000 customers a day.

Being designated as the flagship operation of Paris Baguette in Indonesia, Pondok Indah Mall Store will provide differentiated products and services. For customers who will enjoy light meals at the shopping mall, it will offer dining menus including ‘mushroom risotto’ and ‘spicy seafood tomato pasta’. Its interior design features an island-type store with a cozy and antique atmosphere suggesting a French greenhouse garden.

Located on the first floor of Summarecon Mall in Bekasi, a large-scale residential district in the eastern part of Jakarta, with a floor space of 132 square meters and 40 seats, the fourth store Summarecon Bekasi Store will open on March 31, 2022.

“Paris Baguette is rapidly expanding its market in Indonesia as its taste and quality are recognized by local customers,” said a manager at SPC Group. “We will open more than 10 stores in Indonesia by the end of this year, primarily in Jakarta and neighboring key cities.”

In October 2021, SPC Group established a joint venture ‘Era Boga Patiserindo’ with Indonesia’s Erajaya Group, and opened in Jakarta in November of the same year ‘Ashta Mall Store’, the first location of Paris Baguette in Indonesia. And it is expanding global business by building a production facility in Malaysia.
