SPC Group Presents Over 1,000 Blood Donor Cards to Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation

SPC Group (CEO: Hur Young-in) announced on October 28, 2021, that the Group conveyed to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation (Chairman of the board: Oh Yeon-cheon) 1,046 blood donor cards donated by executives and employees at the Group.
The Foundation will distribute these blood donor cards to sick children who are suffering from childhood cancers and rare refractory diseases.
“We are grateful for collecting blood donor cards by executives and employees at SPC Group for patients with childhood cancers despite difficult situations,” said Seo Seon-won, Secretary General of Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation. “Considering the significance of blood donor cards donated with the precious mind, we will provide them to children with childhood cancers who essentially need help.”
“In shortage of donated blood due to prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, we contributed blood donor cards for sick children who need help,” said a manager at SPC Group. “We will continue to conduct various social contribution activities to fulfill corporate social responsibility.”
In the meantime, SPC Group has been carrying on blood donation campaigns with executives and employees this year to help stabilize the supply of blood and support children with childhood cancers. To date, the Group has donated over 3,800 blood donor cards to Korean Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer, Yonsei Cancer Hospital, and Southern Seoul Blood Service of Korean Redcross as well as Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation.
