SPC Group Supports Search Sites for Persons that Went Missing in Torrential Rain with Emergency Relief Supplies

SPC Group (Chairman: Hur Young-in) announced on the 18th that it delivered emergency relief supplies to support search sites for persons that went missing across the country due to recent torrential rain.
Through Korean Red Cross, SPC Happy Foundation delivered 3,500 pieces of bread and bottled water each to missing person search sites in Gwangju and Namyangju of Gyeonggi-do, Wonju of Gangwon-do, and Buyeo of Chungcheongnam-do. The relief supplies will be used to support around 1,000 search personnel including those of the fire authorities working at the search sites.
“We donated the relief supplies to be of assistance to the firefighting personnel who are working day and night to search for missing persons,” said an SPC Group official. “We will dedicate to supporting until the flood recovery is completed.”
Since the 9th, SPC Group has donated approximately 10,000 pieces of SPC Samlip bread and 13,000 bottles of water as relief supplies for victims suffering from the recent torrential rain and the relief personnel. Among various flood recovery support activities, SPC Group Employees volunteered on the 12th to make sandbags for flood prevention at Banpo Sports Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
