SPC Group to Open Shake Shack Cheonan Store as 20th Location in Korea

SPC Group (CEO: Hur Young-in) announced on December 13, 2021 that it will open Shake Shack Cheonan Store, the 20th location in Korea.

As the fourth store opening in non-metropolitan areas following those in Busan, Daegu and Daejeon, the Shake Shack Cheonan Store is located on the first floor of Shinsegae Department Store Cheonan-Asan B Hall with a floor space of 299.7 square meters and 108 seats.

The interior of the store is decorated with the ‘concept of gallery’ in a bright tone inspired by Arario Gallery, a regional attraction near the Shake Shack Cheonan Store. The store will display three 3D works of ‘semiTR’, a graffiti artist, that expressed the free and vigorous brand image of Shake Shack under the theme of ‘Art of Rhythm’.

In addition to existing main menus of Shake Shack, including ShackBurger, Shack Stack and SmokeShack, the Cheonan Store will provide a new dessert ‘Hodu Samgeori’ as its limited signature menu that is flavored with adzuki beans, walnuts and cream cheese inspired by walnut cookies, the soul food of Cheonan.

Celebrating the opening of the Cheonan Store, Shake Shack will offer a variety of events. Through December 19, it will present Shake Shack-marked sunglasses and socks as gifts to 50 customers of the day in the order of arrival. To those customers who will visit the Store between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. on the opening day, it will offer coupons for menus and goods of Shake Shack based on the results of a game event. And through December 31, 2021, it will provide 5,000 happy points to those customers who will buy and fully use a KRW 50,000-valued mobile gift certificate of Shake Shack at the Cheonan Store, in the order of arrival. “The Shake Shack Cheonan Store drew deep attention since its ‘Community Day’, the pre-opening event, as over 2,000 customers applied for participation,” said a manager at Shake Shack. “We will continue to exert efforts to promote tastes and hospitality culture of Shake Shack in other regions.”
