Lina’s, a sandwich and salad restaurant chain operated by the SPC Group (Chairman Hur Young-in), announced on December 15 that it will open the Mugyo branch, which is Lina’s 12th.
Lina’s has served sandwiches and salads as its specialty since it was founded in France in 1989. In Korea, SPC group runs Lina’s branches in Seoul Arts Center, Gwanghwamun, Jamsil and Incheon Airport.
Lina’s Mugyo is a 131 square meter dining venue with 31 seats, located on the ground floor of The Exchange Seoul Mall near City Hall Station on Seoul subway lines 1 and 2.
Lina’s Mugyo sells about 20 different sandwiches, salads and soups. Among them are ‘Chicken & Almond Sandwich’ stuffed with almonds and chicken breast mixed with special sauce in soft brioche; ‘Bacon & Egg Sandwich’ filled with delicious egg salad and crispy bacon; and ‘Caesar Chicken Salad’ featuring Parmesan cheese, crunchy croutons and healthy Quinoa served with Caesar salad dressing.
The store also offers customizable ‘sandwich boxes’ containing properly cut products. It takes bulk orders from organizations such as schools and companies and provides delivery service as well.
Its new service ‘Cold Pickup Box’ developed in step with the age of non-contact is noteworthy. The entire buying process from order to receipt works without directly contacting other people. You can order a takeout item by using a food-delivery service app such as Happypoint and Coupang Eats then take them out of an in-store pickup box after opening it by entering your phone number.
Lina’s is hosting events to celebrate the opening of its Mugyo branch. It will gift promotional mugs printed with its brand logo to 500 buyers of products worth over KRW 10,000 on a first-come-first-served basis. It will also sell a collection of its signature item ‘Chicken & Almond Sandwich’ and sparkling pink chamomile beverage for KRW 12,000 until December 21.
